The Graduate Psychiatric Nurse Practice Guideline was approved May 12, 2021. This guideline provides direction for GPNs on the requirements of their temporary license. The guideline also informs supervisors, team members, employers, and other stakeholders about the role of GPNs, requirements of the GPN temporary license, and provides direction to support effective supervision of GPNs.
